MAXIGOLT is a medium-late maturing fresh market pea variety with excellent quality traits. This well known, high-yielding variety convinces with an excellent flavour and is equally well suited for direct consumption or freezing. The pods can be easily opened and are filled with large seeds.
YIELD AND QUALITY
The large pod is filled with 8 to 10 large seeds and can be opened easily. Maxigolt effortlessly provides the consumer with a high quantity of excellent tasting peas for direct consumption, but also for freezing.
Maxigolt is a high-yielding pea variety. Due to its extraordinary qualities it has been very much appreciated by backyard gardeners and on the fresh market for many years.
CULTIVATION
Sowing can take place between the beginning of March and the end of June. This way, due to the different sowing times, the availability of pods ripe for picking can be ensured over a long period of time. The uniform pod formation allows that all pods are harvested after one round of picking. A large pod and the long growth type make harvesting easier.
