Ramada is a very early grower and a 100% male hybrid with good quality traits and an outstanding yield potential. It offers a combination of large-diameter spears and early harvest. Ramada produces extraordinarily high and solid early yields and is well suited for forced cultivation conditions in order to obtain early crops.

CULTIVATION

RAMADA is a relatively non-demanding variety and suitable for all types of asparagus soils. The large spear diameter is particularly well suited for light soils. For the cultivation of white asparagus we recommend a plant density of 3 plants per running meter. RAMADA is suitable for all forcing techniques to obtain early crops and produces reliably high and early yields.

YIELD AND QUALITY

RAMADA offers a particularly high yield potential and produces early, high yields. The spears are straight with a firmly closed tip. RAMADA is uniformly classified, showing a high proportion of spears in the range of 16-26mm. RAMADA possesses outstanding flavour properties.

FOLIAGE

RAMADA shows medium-long, solid and firm sprouts. Its medium green foliage is loosely branched and has a high tolerance against the naturally occurring asparagus leaf diseases. The foliage remains green and strong for a long time in autumn.
