RECOMMENDATIONS FOR A SUCCESSFUL CULTIVATION
Production target | Very high grain yields and high falling numbers. |
Sowing time | From the end of September to beginning of November. |
Seeding | Sowing time and sowing rate: |
Early sowing: 110-130 spikelets/m² (app. 150-170 kg/ha)
Late sowing: 140-160 spikelets/m² (app. 180-210 kg/ha)
Increasing the sowing rate on the basis of organic production methods (e.g. harrowing) should be carried out at own discretion.
Weed control | Conforte competes very well against weeds, so that two rounds of harrowing should be sufficient. The first harrowing should be performed as early as possible from the beginning of the 3 leaf stage on in spring. A second round should be carried out three to four weeks later. |
