ZOLLERNSPELZ is our successful spelt variety used in organic farming. It has a high yield potential and possesses excellent quality traits. Further advantages of this variety are excellent straw stability and low susceptibility to disease.

RECOMMENDATIONS FOR A SUCCESSFUL CULTIVATION
| Production target | High grain yield while achieving good straw stability and showing low susceptibility to yellow rust; recommended for organic farming. |

| Increasing the sowing rate on the basis of organic production methods (e.g. harrowing) should be carried out at own discretion. | |
| Weed control | Zollernspelz competes well against weeds so that two to three rounds of harrowing should normally be sufficient. The first harrowing should be performed as early as possible once the 3 leaf stage has begun in spring. A second round should be carried out three to four weeks later. |
